MultiVersus Rick and Morty release date delay & leaked skins gameplay

Tier 5 is the characters who really shouldn’t be played either due to their moveset or the fact that they have bigger problems right now. If you were hoping Taz is still a menace, unfortunately, his recent nerf has dropped his power down quite a bit. This Looney Tunes character is a Bruiser archetype character for a reason – he can barrel through enemies with ease and hit hard both up close and from a distance. He can also turn enemies into cooked chicken with his Bottomless Pit Passive Ability, which also allows him to heal.

Sword in hand, you can always count on Finn to charge into battle – and MultiVersus isn’t any different. As an Assassin archetype character, he’s a lot like Harley Quinn in the sense that he can deal a lot of damage in the right situation. But, that – and out MultiVersus Season 1 tier list – is for the future. Right now, we’re going to rank the entire MultiVersus roster and let you know why we think there are some characters better than others. We’re sorry in advance if your favourite is lower down than you’d like.

While it would be great for this to be some kind of promotional tease for the character, it's most likely the product of players hacking the title, like dataminer LusiaMV did. Of course, after making Rick playable and posting the footage, LusiaMV's Twitter account was suspended. Similarly, plenty of videos have popped up on YouTube showing leaked gameplay of Rick, and there will likely be more before he finally joins the game for good.

Some characters also have variants, or skins, based on other characters, such as Uncle Shagworthy and Cake being skins of Shaggy and Jake, respectively. Characters can be unlocked through gameplay or purchased using Character Tokens included with the "Founder's Pack" content packages, with a rotating selection of characters available for all players to use. New characters are planned to be added to the game as post-launch content. The open beta for the game officially started July 26, starting with 17 characters including Superman, Shaggy, The Iron Giant, Bugs Bunny, and more .

Huynh also mentioned that "MultiVersus" will have regular events and leaderboards, so the more competitive-minded players will have something to strive for. The first hints that "MultiVersus" was real came when the official "Tom and Jerry" and "Looney Tunes" Twitter accounts tagged WB Games and announced that their iconic characters were missing. Very shortly afterward, the official "MultiVersus" Twitter account was unveiled, along with the first trailer for the new game.

Despite how much we’ve seen, and even played, of MultiVersus, this is the first official gameplay trailer for the game. In it, we see some of the crazy character combinations possible in this crossover fighter and hear some unique dialogue for each combination of ally and opponent. For those who want to play before everyone else during the early access period, you'll automatically be invited if you were part of the closed alpha which took place previously. If you didn't but still want a shot at some early brawls, you can perhaps score access through Twitch Drops.

MultiVersus, as you probably already know, is a multiplayer fighting game in the ilk of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros franchise, with the roster being made up of famous Warner Bros characters. In MultiVersus, the Multiverse is at your fingertips as you battle it out in intense 2v2 matches. This platform fighter lets you play out your fantasy matchups in a fun co-op or head-to-head multiverse beta gameplay fight for supremacy. Currently, there are four types of matches in MultiVersus – one-on-one ; in 2-on-2 teams ; 2 on 2 against bots ; and all vs all for 4 players . Matches in the game are fast, in 2 on 2 matches the game goes up to 4 ringouts and takes 2-5 minutes. And the most important thing is that MultiVersus is a humorous game, so defeats here are not sad, and the characters try in every way to cheer you up.
